“Even if I knew that toworrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”Martin Luther
No matter how the world evolves, be sure to make your dreams come true. Facing multiple crisis, we have always been creative to improve our lifes. Housing is our nest, the place where we grow up, where memories build up. An alternative living is forever leading populations all around the world and seduce more and more Europeans. Let’s see what it could be like.
Do you sometimes wake up and feel like you would love to watch something else than your garden? Maybe the sea, a wild land.. or simply nothing? (bye-bye neighbors!)
Well, I do!
Not because I do not appreciate where I am? [No..] But simply because I wish time to time to see something else, and not only in my dreams.
On the go !
Moving into a house, apartment or whatever your imagination brings on is always an exciting step in our life. Owning or not, it becomes your space, your pleasure to get back home and get quickly cozy. Nevertheless, your place won’t move [shit..] and the door will constantly open to the same view. And that is ok! But who doesn’t want to make a beautiful place his new home?
As human beings and never satisfied (really ?!), we love seeing new landscapes, going to a new coffee shop nearby… that is natural and fulfilling. But while a fixed space cannot allow you to live on the go, a Tiny House on wheels can; and that is the main reason why they became a trendy alternative lifestyle!
This alternative concept has been and still is very famous. Even though it is actually not really new. In 1929, in the USA, Charles Miller was one of the first to build a mobile Tiny House. But he wasn’t the precursor [no no no]. In the 19th century, the nomad populations were quite familiar with this lifestyle. It is known under the name of gypsy caravans!
Only in the years of 2010, Tiny houses boomed for the first time in Europe. They are spreading everywhere since then! Sorry guys… Caravans became has-been!
Well, but why are they popular only now ?
Green is the new black !
Exactly for the same reason that people started to eat local and fresh food. They simply want to reconnect with nature and live without all those unnecessary costs. [I am pretty sure you know what I mean]. Environmentally friendly, self-efficiency, minimalist lifestyle… Does it sound familiar to you?
Nowadays, many reasons push people to live with the least ecological footprint. And do not worry, it is accessible to everyone ! As a matter of fact, a Tiny House can help you achieve that purpose. Mmm, tell me more…
• It is well isolated, cold or hot outside, you are safe! • Composting toilet is your new friend! Safer and cooler. • It is customised, you choose what matters the most to you! • Less space = fewer needs = welcome to simplicity!
It is not over…
• It kicks your ass to become more organized! • Easy and fast to clean, what a dream. • You feel like in holidays for 365 days … • … without the vacation costs!
More seriously, despite its pros and cons, the Tiny House on wheels stays a very nice alternative living space to a standard habitation. If you like authenticity and moving whenever you like, it is made for you. If you want to explore different places but to feel more comfortable than in a caravan, it is made for you. In fact, it is made for everyone who needs some change and feel free !
